anyone tell me if this is a late type or early type redtop so i can order new waterpump oilpump ect. or how can you tell difference between the two?

v shape crank shaft pully normally found on early type. take oil cap off and look for a small circle on top of the camshaft saddle. inside the circle is the year of the engine. ie 90

it has 90 on it so it's a 1990 engine?
what years are early an what are late? an what car is it most likley to be from if it's a 1990?

92's when cats became compulsory so I'd say then. The c in c20xe stands for catalytic converter. Whereas early ones are called 20xe's.
