I've called them twice. First time was regarding static IPs. Customer service was so bad i wanted to hang myself. Second time was regarding changing my router as the one they provided was wank. Customer serivce was awsome.

BT is a bad move

My old man has BT and i phoned them for the user name and password for the account so i could replace the old BT Voyger 2000 with a Netgear DG384. I was told i couldn't have the details and would have to cancel the contract and sign up again for the details. WTF! Canceled the lot and went with Sky.

They also charge silly amounts of money for a package you can get a lot cheaper else where.

When i canceled my phone and broadband last year, BT kept telling me they owe me money. Received a total of 3 cheques in the end.

Do not go to BT Broadband its shite, trust me. Why do you want to pay extra for the same level of shit broadband you can get anywhere else?? If you are in a cable area get VMCable, if not, just go for the cheapest unlimited 8/16mb (whichever you are) package, they are all the same speed give or take

If you take SKY TV...the BB and the phone line you get free line rental saving you £15 pm...and you get the base package BB 2MB for free. Or if you want the 8MB package its only £5 a month.
