Anyone have any recommendations?
I basically want to:

-export scenes from a video,
-paste all scenes together
-add music
-export to a good quality film

The video will be 1080p. I have no experience with video editors, so im looking for something simple.

Oh, the original video is a .mkv format.

I would like to export to MKV and AVI if possible.

I just use Windows movie maker for basic vids. Not sure if it supports 1080p or MKV format tho.
