took my car today for emisions test and it fails because there is too much fuel goin through and ive changed the lambda sensor nd got standard airbox on any ideas on what it could be?

As above get the cat nice and hot before mot , other than that looks like you will need new cat or you might have a faulty injector, are all plugs the same condition, is air filter clean.

took the car in hooked it up to the ecu reader nd it wasnt registerin so do you think my injectors r mabie pumping in too much fuel like theve been turned up?

You can,t adjust the injectors might be a dodgy injector but could still be cat , did you check the plugs ? so you have had the ecu read but no faults stored ?

no faults not checked the plugs but will when it goes in, and my m8 just turned up his injectors at college

lol at 'turning up the injector' they are only operate on an "on"or "off" state, you can make them stay open longer, but not on standard management.
High VOC's usually mean you aren't burning the fuel so has nothing to do with the CAT or lamda sensor. Try ensuring you have a spark from all 4 plugs. That is the most common cause. If you touch them to your tongue and turn the starter over and you feel a little shock then it is ok if not you need new leads or coil.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
