I wana record from my mixer, using a line-in and something to record the sound. Iv got the correct cable, into the blue line in port on my sound card, checked it all..windows says its working correctly.
What can i use to record now? im using vista...
Doesnt look like media player can
Movie maker is for visual stuff.

audacity - free, fairly simple to use.
personally, i would see if you can get hold of something like Adobe Audition, has a load more features and you can do basic multi-tracking (has it's uses for a DJ in doing corrections  )
