to cut a long story short...
brake light/indicators fuse kept on blowing. changed it. was fine for a few days, blew, changed it, blew, etc
now today i changed it, and after half hour the wires started smoking and melting goin to the brake lights in the boot.....and the fuse was melted.
was correct fuse etc.
i know its a long shot for a definite solution, but thought i would ask for any details of anyone whose experianced it before, and who i should take it too first, wat expect to pay etc
any help what so ever is really really appreciated

If a fuse blows, then blows the replacement then it is a near guarantee that there is a problem that needs addressing and not keep on replacing fuses.
you need to start con checking between the fuse board and the lights, also between different wires to confirm a short. If you feel competent enough then pull up the carpets to expose the loom to the boot (passenger side) and look for any trapped bits of loom.
To be blunt with you, if you need to come on a forum to ask this question, it is probably out your remit to fix it.
Call a local autoelectrician to have a look and give you a repair quote.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
