hay peeps as some might know my car got a nasty shunt and has been written off as a cat c

im thinking of repairing it as i cant stand any other cars ive driven and i really liked my little b

so how hard is it to replace the boot floor and the rear slam panel.. other bits are easy like sorting out straightening the inner wheel arch (just has a little split in it so no biggy) and cosmetic stuff i.e. bumper lights tail gaite.

all help will be much apreciated(sp)

Rich

do you need your spare wheel well? if not just cut out the affected are and weld in a new plate. i doubt you will find a new panel for it and it will be a lot of work as you will need to drill the spots down the sides and along the floor behind the seats.

You could buy another car for £200 and use the shell and flog the rest.

It would be a similar amount of work to do and just as quick. You can strip and rebuild one in a weekend.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
