have pulled the plastic rubbing strips of doors and back quarters on my B and it has left the adehisve on the paint work, how do i remove this safely and efficently. tried heat gun and rubbing it off with my fingers but this A burns my fingers lol and B takes ages!! any help cheers

There's quite a few;
Petrol
Thinners
White Spirits
Tar & Glue remover
Using the above + some Heat should get it off ( Obviously dont blow yourself up though )
The best thing to use though is a Toffee Wheel it will be off in no time with a one of them

Toffee wheel, no burns no time used lots of rubber dust and lots of lovely smells, FTW !
