i want to lower it about 40mm but dont have a clue what make of spring to go for? i dont know what makes are good and what makes are shite!

so any help would be great!!!

apex do a -40mm spring kit for the C. have a look on the pvd site.

eibach do -30mm springs.
Pi do -35/-40mm. i've heard loads of bad stories about these though - poo quality!
koni do a full -40mm shock and spring kit.

Yep don't touch PI in my experience.

Go for a full koni kit.

hmmm, very odd

I had PI on my corsa c and had no complaints at all, however did try the apex -40mm and they didnt even fit properly

Still, have to agree with Andy4B, full koni kit all the way

I have had -40mm Pi springs on for a while. Dont see anything wrong with them so far.

i got Pi's now they are ok for lowering but expect miracles, like they say they do the job but im gonna go koni when i got the money, one things people should pick up on though is if u got a tight budget you have to go for what u can afford. better to get a whole shock set though as PI aint as low as they say they are

i got 30mm Pi springs all round on my C and i wud not recommend them at all, my back is uneven and ride quality is absolute shite!

I have Apex -40mm and they are really good quality and not bad on prices

dunno if i was dreamin when someone said this but can the part of your alloy which meets the hub be machined off to give a different offset? dont laff at me if its crap but im sure someone told me u cud
