looking for a little help
just swapped a 1.2 8v engine over for another ( exactly the same )
I'm getting no spark for some reason
i've tried

new crank sensor
re - earthed all wires to make sure they are ok
dizzy cap
leads
made sure all connections are ok

anything else i can check ?
i have 12v on the kinglead on ignition
soon as i crank it over the 12v are lost and it wont start

help !

the car the engien came out is M reg
The car its going in is N

Looking on TIS 2000 it has an anti theft warning system so it could have an immbolizer

Do you think i need to take the ignition barrel out + ecu and try that ?

Could give it a go, no harm!

Ignition Barrel Pickup Coil, Transponder from Key and maybe the ECU

never done this before so i need the full barrel plus the black box + ecu and the key and see if that works, if not any other ideas ? cheers
