Not at the moment, she is in America doing some 3month stay at a camp somewhere, looking after 9-13 year olds...
Her new nickname is 'Jacko'.

if you are moving to manchester, id sooner live somewhere like chorlton than the city centre, cant see the attraction in just living in the centre to look out over other blocks of flats.

I looked at Chorlton Mills, lovely apartments but the view is still shite, plus you're a walk from anywhere in the centre.
Im bang in the middle and I look over the pic above. Thats why my apartments are at a premium, as Im bang in the centre but with a decent view.

i wouldnt go for a new apartment, a few of my mates went to live in chorlton/didsbury and id rather live round the centre of each of them than manchester centre, chorlton is a sound place to live, and only a short taxi/bus ride from town.

Depends what you're after. I had a load of mates who lived round Chorlton and Didsbury when I was at uni, yet when it came to going out or in to the centre during the day it was a pain in the ass and mine was much better. Plus you are surrounded by scrags that way.
At least if he get a place on Deansgate, by mine, or down towards Betham Tower he'd be a short walk from any work place (as he would be bang in the centre thats fosho) plus near all the decent night spots he is going to be heading towards and not the place the scroates are going to outsite the centre.

Cosmo has hit the nail on the head. I would be working central so ideally would be looking for a 5-10 min walk to work and nightlife etc.
I might even live in Liverpool and drive to Manchester everyday!
All up in the air at the moment.
