Ever since I got my new laptop, ive been installing stuff to the C: drive for ages before I realised its a small partion for the system files.
Is there any way I can move the majority of the files from the C: partion to D: without fucking everything up?
As in, can I just drag the program files folder to the D: partion without problem?

uninstall, reinstall is the easiest option.
Although why don't you back up everything on the D drive, delete that partition and expand the C partition? If it's just program files on the D partition, you'd have to reinstall the software in the event of the OS failing anyways.

Nope, you can un-install them and install them back onto the D drive, probably the easiest option.
But most program files install system files which direct programs to the certain drive, iirc, if you move it then stuff won't work.
typed it at the same time as dom...

Download partition magic.
Expand C:
Otherwise do what Dom and Cavey have said.
