Think i have been neglecting my car recently due to lack of funds etc.
I feel i have a hole in my exhaust, not sure where. How much does a standard exhaust cost (stand as i hate my insurance company but my mum pays for it and wont change  ) Price needs to included fitting.
Secondly how much is a standard garage check up? Maybe changing oil filters and stuff like that.
Also i have a very dodgy LOUD rattling noise coming from somewhere in the engine bay, sounds like its infront of the drivers steering wheel but also under the front right wheel, around that area, anyone know what it could be?

exhaust is bout 75-90 quid standard full system.
checkup will prolly be round 100 depending on where u check it...like vaux or ur local garage.

That doesnt help much, could it be a fanbelt etc or could it just be a rattling airbox as i have taken the cold air feed off it?

What is a ball joint? I havent a clue about the mechanics of a car to be honest!
