gone to start my car this morning 9 corsa b 1.2 8v, covered 97000 miles

was all fine last night and this morning i started the car and theres a whirling sound coming from inside the engine it gets louder as you rev it up

ive checked the timing belt-looks brand new

all the pulleys are secure-none wobbling

and fan belt looks okay

anyone help ??
