Anybody have one?
I'm looking at getting one for my dad, lower end of the price scale though from what I can see, and tbh I don't have a clue about them.

didn't even know there were any tbh
Guess it's essentially a radio with wifi, to connect to the net and a small screen to find what you're after?
avforums would be the place to ask i guess

That's about it.
I quite honestly don't see the point in them, he's got a DAB one which he does use a lot but I doubt he'd use an internet one.

Get a lot of Irish stuff on it, which my aunt listens to, and where he got the idea.

tbf, just done a quick search, and a morphy richards internet radio, with DAB is only £60, most DABs i was looking at are £50ish anyway, might be worth an extra £10 for the 1000s of extra channels he could possibly get.

That's the sort of stuff i'm looking at, I hate buying cheap stuff though and this is just a wee add on present.
Might just give it a shot though.

tbf, that morphy richards one sounds like a pretty damn good bit of kit, can stream mp3s, play internet radio, and record to SD card. for £60, can't go far wrong really.
Unless it's a cheap useless piece of crap that falls apart after a week or the wireless doesn't work well, which would make it a bit pointless

If he's got a dab radio already, and only wants the internet radio bit, the freecom music pal seems to be the best bet according to a quick look on digitalspy, firmware upgrades, allowing real media etc, as well now apparently
