Please could anyone help in this question, i have a R REG 1.4 CORSA b BREEZE but i have not a clue what type of engine oil to use or the viscosity, i been told off a neighbour to use 10/30 but he not 100% sure and i need to know if has to be synthetic.

If it's not mega mileage 10w40 will be fine.

i went to quick fit for a oil change and i stopped them in there tracks, they said i need oil 10/30 fully synthetic which goes against what people are telling me, boy am even more confused.

am after a deff answer if any one can help

Should be 10w40, 10w30 will do fine.

10w 40 is what it came out the factory with.

10w 30 will also be fine but it will be thinner than 10w 40 when it's hot.

10w40 or 15w40 semi synth as above.. 10w30 will be too thin.

i would put 10W/40 part synthetic in all vauxhall engines between 1985 and 2007. If its tired (over 80-90k), maybe start using the 15w/40.

I also change my oil every 3k...which helps
