F1 2009 by Codemasters is only coming out on the PSP and WII, well that's the last i heard. You have R-Factor and it's F1 mod, and F1 Grand Prix, which is an old game (99/00) but people are still modding it to include recent cars/teams/drivers, rule changes and the engine.

Dom, I'm an occasional gamer, why didn't I think of the online downloads to mod the game, I have the 99/00 F1 game you mentioned, so if I went online now? Would I be able to get it up to date with all the 2009 cars/drivers?

No sure if you can just download the Mod Patches etc I just downloaded the complete game (pre-modded). Saying that though (>THIS<) may just be the mod, no doubt it can be had else where. Also spotted >THIS< and >THIS<, haven't tried either of them though.
