hey guys and girlies, i seemed to have developed a problem with the corsa
Earlier today it drove absolutely fine, i switched the car off and then switched it on again about 10 minutes later if that, i was in second gear and it was very jolty.
Its was idling very lumpy, and its quite smokey, smells like petrol as well, i know it could be overfueling i just wondered if there was anything i could do like remapping the ecu maybe? i don't know to be honest
need some ideas!
Its a 1.6 16v x16xe

Did it clear? If so i would suggest that maybe you inadvertantly flooded it slightly.

It could be a number of things- coolant temp sensor, coil pack etc. CTS can make it run rich and smell like petrol and coil pack can make it splutter if it is on the way out. There shouldnt be any need to remap the ecu tho. I would change the CTS first because they are only about a fiver from here

Unlucky, shouldnt be too expensive to fix tho- headset is about £30, skim the head if you need to £20, headbolts £15 and a few hours labour unless you are doing it yourself. Its an easy enough job if you have the know-how
