every once in a while my speedo decides to wither not work atall.. just sit at zero all the time
or
it will work and it will go to my speed but when im sat at a constant speed.. like on the bypass at 70 it drops to zero then bounces halfway back up and sits at 30 or something then bounces back up to 70
going to get the clocks out today and have a look at all the connections and so on
but a friend of mine said theres something near the gearbox that has something to do with it haha
anyone got any idea's why this might be happening

Check the fuse first I'd say.

well looking in the fuse box i cant see a fuse for it?
anybody know what the fuse is or where it is
also if the fuse had gone
wouldnt it just not work atall?

It'll be the transducer on the gearbox is on it's way out.

if your speedo is electronically driven and not cable driven then it may be the fuse (in which case it is fuse 18 20a)
if the reverse light doesnt work, its most likely the fuse

yes it could be the transponder or speedo head some are electric or cable or i beleive some are haf and half

ok mine doesnt work, just noticed the reverse light wasnt workin, so changed fuse 18, i now got reverse lights but no speedo still, what do i do now?
any help would be much appreciated
