Ive ran out of black ink but got loads of colour and a spare colour cartridge.
Is there a way to set word so it only uses colour ink as it wont let me print due to no black ink.
Using word 2003.

try removing the empty black cartridge. your printer will probably warn you that you have a missing cartridge but they sometimes give you the option to print from the colour one.

I've got an Epson and it offers to print in black from the colour catridges whenever you run/running out of Black ?
What printer is it, have a quick google on it?

Change the colour of the text to either Cyan, Magenta or Yellow, or a mixture of those. Or you could go to the Asda in Tamworth and buy new ink/printer.

Change the text colour to blue. It used to work on older printers. But both the printers at work won't allow you to print unless all cartridges are all working. Mind you they're both digital types.

Tamworth is miles away, the uni library is open 24 hours but not sure if you can buy credit for the printers 24 hour a day.

This happened to me when I was doing my GCSE's.
Just change the text to dark blue and it should work
