so i take a picture on my mobile
send it to web address mobile@facebook.com
and it appears on my profile on facebook.
does anyone no how it knows what profile to post it to lol just buy using my mobile number what has nothing to do with facebook

wtf you on about?
if you send me a text. it will tell me what number it came from. same thing if i sent you an email. you'd know where it came from. how does your computer know to log you in on this site? as it knows where you are or what computer you are on.
everything you do on the internet or on your phone can be tracked back to that device.

i mean its a phone number sending a picture to an email address and appearing instant on my profile
my number hasn't got anything to do with facebook and the sim aint registered to anyone ??

your number has as when you register to upload pics to facebook it gives you a code that you have to put in. this then registers that number to facebook account. ie facebook now know your mobile number.

ive just gone into the settings on facebook and my number is there attached.
so problemo solved

just think of all the people facebook could be giving your number to. as they know your name, your friends, your phone number, your date of birth, your age, where you were born, what school (if any) you went to etc
facebook makes fraud easy.
