My mate said you line the cams up facing each other do they not face up like the redtop cams line up with the rocker cover also sure the crankshaft pulley lines up the mark on the cover wich would be tdc correct?

The cam pulleys face each other and the crank is ment to line up with the mark on the cover but check it is tdc before the new belt goes on.

once all on turn the crank so the belt has gone all the way round and see it it nocks or bangs or if u can feel it hitting anything. just makes shure nothing smashes when u turn the engine over.
