how can i tell my colour of my car ???
is there a code i can look 4

Open the Bonnet and there is a little Black plate at the front of the car.
On this plate will be a code reading something like 79L which is the colour code of your car.

If you go to Halfords you can look in their catalogue alongside the paint displays. You can look up Vauxhall red shades and it will list the red colour names and paint codes. They will list the more common colours (that they stock) but not all colours (like Leaf Green). May be worth a look if no one else can give you any info.

Mines a '93 K in falme red, also have a m8 who has same in L, paint code is E547 from the ID plate under the bonnet. I know this is rite shade cos used code 2 order paint from vaux and its perfect (except for the fading on my bodywork!)

My car is a 94 in Flame Red and yeah the code is E547 79L.
When I've ordered from paintshops I only needed the 79L bit.

its flame red, and according to the paint shop i went to yesturday there is only 1 shade.

oh, its probably listed as flamenco rot. available in cellulose or 2k paint.

If you're gonna buy it, buy from the dealers, NOT Halfords. There is a difference in shade as I found out. It works out a bit dearer at the dealers and they are smaller cans but the colour match is a lot better.

Halfords Glacier white is crap, yet grey matallic and frost blue is spot on! Vauxh glacier white is great, but very thin and runs to easily. Their laquer is great tho.
Oh and as for primers, halfords are tip top.
