wheel plan=2 axle rigid body
the chassis number on the vehicle
the weight of the car now after the change
change date (say whatever you told insurance company)
Cylinder capacity= 1598cc
Number of seats
not sure about standing places
The fuel it runs on = petrol
Engine number, assuming it means engine code=X16XE
hope this helps

Date of Change - Lie, you may get stung for back dated tax otherwise.
Capacity is 1598cc
Engine Number - It's on the block nearest the gearbox. You may need a bit of degreaser.
Taxation class, just leave it alone and the DVLA will sort it.
The DVLA may get in touch and ask for proof of the conversion etc because the taxation class is changing.
You're best off going to your local DVLA office instead of posting the form off.

You may have to pay back tax on it then. It's approx £100 for 6months on a 1.6 but only £65 for the 1.4 so you could owe £35
Just fill the bits in i said. I just did engine size and number on my XE. It was fine.

Cheers mate, Just spoke to mechanic he said can sought me out a receipt for whenever.
So do you think this would work (as im so skint)
Say conversion completed on 09/01/10
Get receipt for above
If they quibble say done insurance staright away as engine was in car and not running, but did not want to have car uninsured in -case was stolen from garage or damaged

X16XE is the engine code, that might be all they need.
