Hi all. everything was working fine last night until I removed my LED plate bulb because some of the LEDs have popped. Took it out, turned it around and put it back in.
Then the driver's side rear sidelight was off, thought was just bulb. Replaced, still not working. Checked the fuses, all fine (and front sidelight works)
Tried cluster in my mates car. Worked
Tried numerous other bulbs. No joy still
Used tester to see if there was power to the wiring plug, it showed power there but very little, the LED was very dim and flickery. Whereas when I did it on passenger side, it was a solid bright red.
So this made me think earth. Tried it to another earth in the boot, but the light on the tester was still the same :S
Anyone got any ideas? Must be a broken wire on the live somehwere I'm thinking?
But seems strange that it went off after messing with plate light.
If I cannot figure it out, would it be ok to take a new feed from the side that works across to the faulty side? As I really cba tracing all the looms back tbh lol
Cheers Carl.
