Exact same, even the 2.0 SRi's have the same power I think - 130bhp iirc.

theyr both x18xe engine aint they so they should be the same? 130bhp i think, get a 2l astra instead

1.8's are 123bhp, 2.0's are 134. There's pretty much nothing between them in terms of performance.

I think there just geard diffrently! but my brother has a 1.8sri and his mates got a 1.8sxi and there about the same just depends who gets the best start

Pre-2000 iirc will be X18XE which I think is a bit less than 123bhp as that's what the X18XE1 and Z18XE have. I think it's nearer 113bhp.
