Do you bank with Barclays? You can get free Kaspersky. I recommend it! Might sort the problem.

have you tried running them in safe mode?

do you know the location of the trojan?
you might be able to manually delete in safe mode, if your programs can't zap it.

Tbh, if my bank recommends it, it's good enough for me. Seems to work quite well!

Kaspersky is amazing dave ! Run it all over the place, has shot way above sophos and the likes, and smashes bitdefender to pieces !

Kapersky is a administration nightmare

Sohpos is alright if you could deploy the cunt, we have AVG 8.5 here because 9 isn't up to the job.

For personal use, I'm liking Microsoft Security Essentails

I just use McAfee because we have a free lifetime subscription to it courtesy of O2 Broadband!

I also don't use Internet Explorer so I've probably reduced the risk of getting viruses from the Internet by about 70%!

But branded as Sophos? Seems a bit strange to me, when the Mcafee option (in my opinion) to End Point Security is a load of horse shit. But thats just my opinion of course.
