Cheap/easy enough?
GF has an old one that doesnt switch on any more and im guessing its the batt. Its all beat up and about 18months old so no bother if it isnt fixable as shes getting an iphone soon
Anyone replaced batteries? Succsessful/expensive?

I did it on my first ipod (2nd or 3rd gen) was a piece of piss to do and quite cheap, check ebay. Just take off the back (I used a guitar pick) unplug the batt and plug in the new one.
