Hey guys, any help on getting a corrupt word file working again?
Have tried most of the methods on the microsoft site, and a couple of recovery programs with no luck.
When I open the file, comes up with a load of guff.
and when I open it...
Any ideas? It's work the missus took ages doing. When she was doing it, it did mess up on some image files, and some copied stuff from the internet, but seemed to save fine.

Not sure about that, but right click the folder -> properties -> previous versions.
Anything in there?

Nothing in properties, had 3 tabs in a working word file, General, Custom, Details, and some actual details on the details tab.
On the broken files, no custom tab, and hardly any details on the detail bit
Come to think of it, she did these on her laptop, might be worth a go on there I guess.
