he didnt mention anything about insurance, it might be a track car like mine then insurance isnt needed

can be a number of things, u sure its hitting the limiter and not just jerking

yeah its defo limiting,me old sri used to do it ocasionally ave tried 2 ecus on this car and they both do it

Mate it's the crank sensor, next to the bottom pulley easy to change, got one here if u want it
