I'm guessing these two computers are a bit behind on OS updates then?

I'd assume so, Vista had only been out 3 months when gravesy's was last turned off

Haha, it's part of an estate of 500 boxes so yup, just a little behind
On the other hand they're behind firewalls, off the net and VLANed out. But the risk report goes on for 120 pages

I had a XP box on for over 2 years once... I had to drag the automatic update notification dialogue to the bottom right hand side of the screen. I had like 10 of the fuckers piled up... LOL

We have a windows 2000 server at work that hosts our telephone system that we are getting shot of in the next few weeks. My boss tells me the last time they restarted it they lost the whole phone system for a fair few days, so it's been sectioned off to it's own VLAN now and been running for over 3 years.

I had auto-fighters going on a RPG that I'd sell once they were the highest level. I could have restarted it but it was lazyness! It wasn't a server either, just a normal PC that I used several hours daily!
