Hi all.
Recently got a new Cd headunit fitted by audi in my s3.
In all this hot weather it refuses to play CD's if the cars been standing in direct sunlight.
However, i havent baught a cd for years...
Is it possible that a Burned cd can become unreadable if the temp gets too high?.
They play fine when the temp drops down.
I use Sony cd-r (which i have used for years without trouble) should i switch to blank "audio" cd's?
Before i go through the warrenty and get the unit renewed.

Seems a bit odd, does this happen with all CDs or just copied/burned CDs? You could try a different CD-R manufacturer, but i'd be surprised if it makes any difference.

I havent tried any other brands yet.
However, i automatically assumed it was an internal fault with the cd player (A PCB joint overheating/ unbonding)
Now im dubious.
I wasnt sure if "burned" cd's can be effected by heat?.
