I am led to believe that disconnecting single (blue) wire to temp sender and earthing with ign on and gauge goes to hot the sender is buggerd I have tried 3 from scrappies all from cars that were in smashes and not there for temp probs They all send the guage to hot when earthed!!!!
It's a corsa b with c20xe tonight I took out thermo and ran car on idle and still the car boiled. what I cant understand is if you short the fan switch the fan runs then why at 100' does the fan switch not cut in,
Temp guage never goes above 85 no air pockets or leaks as far as I know. Cannot touch bottom of rad as tooo hot obviously, I am stuck on this one .Anybody?
