Whilst driving to work this morning, i opened up the throttle in 5th at a steady pace, it was pulling fine then felt like a jolt and the EML came on and it felt like the engine was gutless. Lower down the revs in first and second the car started to splutter and hesitate, luckily i was just coming up to the work car park, the light stayed on for a while as i pulled up, and was trying to find a paperclip, eventually i found one and the light went out.
i did a test anyway and came up with codes:
44 - Oxygen sensor Air/fuel mixture too lean (weak)
84 - Injector valve 4 Low voltage
the 44 code has been coming up a lot on long journeys on the motorway where i load the engine in 5th for a long period, but it goes out when i get back to urban driving.
i took a look at the loom over the injectors and they all seemed to be seated correctly.
How would you guys go about finding out what the problem is and how to cure it?
Is it possible my fuel pump isnt up to the job and im getting weak fuel pressure? or could it be the relay or regulator??
thanks for looking.

Sounds like an issue with injector 4 causing both fault codes

Gearbox mate. I've got the same problem with mine, it actually pops through the induction kit though. It'll rev a bit, then die and splutter and cut out.
