Right, ever since I bought my car the drivers door look has had a different key to the ignition, passenger door and boot, either someones tried to steal it and the owner replaced just one lock or they just snapped their key off... Whats happened is, my key has snapped off in the drivers lock, lol. Luckily for me I can still access the car with the other key I have for the other lock.
My question is, I want to get a lock set from the scrappy, from a corsa of course, but will my ignition key have a chip in? Its a S reg 1997 GLS x14xe, I haven't got a clue if it will or not? And will I just need to put the chip from my key into the new from the scrappy?
