turned them over by hand and nothing hits but when engine running taps like mad

powerbox, 4-1 exhaust manifold ,decat,blanked egr,sai,k&n panel filter head skimmed a lot to up the compression

POST 1 FUCKING TOPIC....

This is the 3rd one now

These cams are (in my opipnion) way too 'lumpy' for standard valve gear and most def need pocketed pistons.

surely you would need carbs or throttel bodies to run with these cams and bigger injectors. you say you have skimmed the head alot? the valves are mosts probly touching the pistons slightly

put standard came back in, if this fixes the problem you know you cant run with the other cams

Is it possible that when turning over by hand the valves are JUST clearing the pistons, but when the engine's spinning 500x faster than you can do by hand the extra 'momentum' is throwing the valves that tiny bit further out so that they're very faintly touching the pistons?
