HI

I have a 2003 MK4 Astra Gsi that hunts on idle and is over fueling. i have my own code reader i have read codes on ECU and replaced AFM and both lambda sensors. The car has been into vauxhall to diagnose the fault and they have said lambda sensors or ecu, i do not want to replace the ecu and stil have the same fault. However i have read up on "The earth mod" on forums i believe i have cut the resistor out the circuit and replaced with some wire my car was then running fine. i taped up the loom and put the car back together and the fault has reappeared i have tried going over the previous steps but it has no bearing on the fault

Regard

Jermaine
