I've been trying to start a networked game of FM10 with a mate using Hamachi, but he has a 'VPN error' and as a result it doesnt let his pc join the game. It also fails a 'ping' test between my computer and his.
Does anybody know a way round this? He is using Windows 7 btw. And I have Googled it but most of what I find might as well be in Chinese. Any tips will be appreciated.

Do either of you have a static IP ?
If so then the other just needs to create a windows vpn

i havent looked at Hamachi in a long time (Since it first came out), but isnt it a type of VPN itself, placing the two PC's on the same network?
I would simply check both machines are on the same network range/subnet.

I created a Network through Hamachi, and my mate joined it. Then on his pc name when looking at Hamachi there is an exclamation mark with the 'VPN error' being the cause for it.
