Well I'm due an upgrade, plus my signal with 3 has gone downhill so can hardly get anythin in the house. Only thing is I dunno what to go for. I'm not fussed about an iphone plus is out of the price I wanna pay. Last few phones have been Sony Ericssons so used to the layout but maybe a change is good. Have looked at maybe an X10 mini pro or HTC Desire HD. Has anyone on here got one or could recommend anything else?

Three's service has fucked up since they stopped using the Orange masts. My dad phoned up to complain, as he does, and he ended up with them giving him the option of either leaving the contract for free or getting his line rental for free for a month or two.

Thats exactly what I've done and was told when I spoke to them. Thats why I'm looking to upgrade plus change networks.

Have looked at a couple of reviews for those and they don't seem that good. One thing I have found is alot of modern phones have shit battery life. Saying that tho the one on mine has had it and have to charge everyday lol.

iPhone needs charging every bloody night, and if you don't do it thinking it's 75% full it's guaranteed to die on you the next day 
Remember the days when they would last a good week before needing charging!

I left my iPhone on the side for 3 days and didn't use it at all. Came back to it and it still had about 30% left.
Batteries aren't bad it's the fact they do so much you're never off it

If you fancy a change and want something within your budget, I recommend an N8. Free on the majority of operators from £35 upwards. Especially Vodafone.
