i manage to load disk from the start up and then deleted all paths and then load xp on shame it,s not vista though.

no xp and brought vista for laptop but might keep it to xp now so i have a vista ulimate one up for grabs.

anorther problem it has a code at bottom of the laptop tryed useing that comes up error why is this i will get there in the end.

It's probably a serial for Professional edition and you have a Home edition disc or something.

have the xp pro disk and it did have xp pro on it before mad a clean copy of xp and now code is wrong or summart cant get passed that bit.

on the stickers is xp pro and i have the disk and still wont work iso?

XP Pro OEM, if you have retail CD it probably won't work.

If it was an OEM disc (which would be the correct one most likely) then it wouldn't ask you for a key when you do the initial installation. You'd only have to enter it to activate it within the 30 day period. That's how it's been for me anyway.
