Hi guys I'm the new MIG regional co-ord for East Midlands and I would very much like to revive this region, which for as long as I can remember has never had a large, monthly Vauxhall meet.
We've got several large cities of Nottingham, Derby, Leicester all in the middle of the region, and there's no reason we can't attract people from a little further afield in areas like Stoke, Stafford, Coventry, Sheffield and Lincoln to name a few. If we all do our bit and bring a friend along as well we can have a really good meet to be proud of!
I am posting this up on MIG, Westmidsonline, Corsasport, Astra Owners Club, Clubcalibra.com, and Vectra C.com to get a variety of Vauxhall's to attend. Please feel free to promote this on your local cruise sites or other Vauxhall owners clubs.
December Meet
When: Sunday December 12th, from 3pm
Where: Peacock Hotel, Oakerthorpe, Alfreton, Derbyshire DE55 7LN
Whats happening: Meet at the Peacock hotel, show off our cars, have a laugh. Food and drinks are available at the bar, families/kids welcome.
Who's invited: Anyone and everyone
Here are some pics of a previous meet held here, courtesy of Harvey...

I promise to do everything I can to arrange events such as rolling road days, shows, convoys to shows, scrapyard scavenges and all the rest... all I ask in return is that we make an effort for this first meet and see what attendance we can get
So come on folks let's make an effort and have something we can all look forward to each month!
I look forward to seeing you on the 12th
Ben.
