If i was to acquire some blu rays, what would the size be for an avergae film

Also what format would they come in and what tools are needed to convert?

5Gb Upwards.

My inception download was just over 10gb, although it's in AVI format.

ahhhh . . . not much good when you have a 10Gb download limit!!

Anyone fancy sending me a selection of Blu Rays on disk and ill cover the cost and a bit extra?

I don't understand how some are titled BDrip yet are 1.4gb. I aquired 'Unstoppable' in mp4 format, the file was less that 3gb and the quality is

You have a 10 Gigabit download limit, not Gigabyte. There is a difference. However seeing as a bit is smaller than a byte, it's still not enough

You sure thats right? I always limits were quoted in bytes, and speeds in bits.

10 gigabit = aprox 1.25 gigabyte

Slightly off-topic here, but are there any places that offer a conversion service? i.e. if I were to give them say, 50 DVD's and a HDD and have them rip them all onto the HDD in a particular format and then return them all to me?

I often find when trying to archive my DVD's that it's quicker to just d/l them. An example is my friends DVD boxset... I bought it just over a year ago and it's not been out of the packet yet... ended up putting it in the loft and downloading the ones I wanted to watch.

i have a blu ray writer, i managed to put my wedding footage on one disk and it was 18gb's, a bluray disk is 25gb's
