Hi people I did some work on my x16xe, new piston rings, shells valve steam oil seals head skimmed re-ground all the valves in head gasket, will it be normal for it to puff abit of blue smoke out untill its run in?

Hmm does sound a bit strange. It is said that sometimes after a rebuild the engine might burn off the oil/lube used when it was all put back together but I wouldn't have thought it would still be doing it after 130+ miles. When I rebuild my smokey x16xe I didn't get any blue smoke afterwards.

As said what oil are you using in it for the running in? Also how have you been driving it?
