A guy at work is looking to sell his 51 plate Corsa C.
It's a non runner due to white smoke from the exhaust, which points to the HG.
The engine is a 1.2 16V, Will that be the Z12XE? Am I right in thikning it's chain driven and if so how hard are they to do?
I've done plenty of timing belts so that wouldn't be a problem, I've just never done a chain setup before.
Also what would it be worth if it's running.
51 plate comfort model. Think it only has power steering and 53k miles.

So it's easy to do with the tool? Do you know if the tool is available, made by draper or sealey?

I've just had a look on eBay and they list the full timing kit including tool for £100. Providing the head on the car I might be buying isn't beyond repair then it'll be well worth me buying to sell on.
