when im coming to a stand still (only when braking) im getting a knocking noise?

1.6 sport with gsi calipers, havnt got a clue what it could be, pads, discs, pipes all see fine

any ideas

anybody?? all bolts are tight, pads discs fine, pipes all secure.


coming to a stand-still you get a repetitive knock that slows down as you do. only when braking

Are you getting an EML? Have you had a new CV joint fitted recently by any chance?

When did it start happening and what were you doing to the car/ what was the car doing just before it started happening?
