Has anybody ever had any tech made from scratch?? I've got an idea thats not on market atm to enable backing up your media on the go easier.
Just no idea where to start or who to go to regarding the creation of it / how much it'll cost etc etc.
Thanks
Alex

Whittie you should have a read of The 4 Hour Work Week that paul_j was pimping a while ago.
It's for people just like you and there is actually a bit with links for getting stuff manufactured in china.

Will try have a google at what others have gone through.
And the jobs were more online based rather than hands on John / (Paul) - http://www.onlinejobs.ph/index.php

What link are you talking about whittie?
The book has a bit (possibly whole chapter, was a few weeks ago I read it) on getting the prototypes made up then moving it onto a first run.

I'm an Industrial Designer
What kind of prototype are you talking about? There are a few options ranging from just having a CAD model made up and rendered nicely to something that's fully working. What are you trying to achieve with the prototype?
