I have a 19" widescreen LCD monitor on my desk, and my laptop is connected to it via VGA cable.

Sometimes the screen gets blurry and I have to press the 'auto' button on the monitor to get it to reset/resync itself - this is something that actually I have to do several times a day.

This problem also occurs if I connect other laptops to it and use different VGA cables, although from what I remember wasn't so bad if I connected the monitor to a desktop PC or Mac.

Do I need a new monitor?
