Sasically i got it last week and tbh im a little disapointed, this is my first LCD tv after finally giving up the old CRT.
I just got myself a better quality aerial to pick up freeview on it but im currently running an aerial extension from my TV the living room to this TV so i can watch the sky for now.
Problem is i think there is alot of ghosting and after playing around with the display settings i cant seem to make it any better. is this just the drawback of a LCD tv not running a HD channel.
(Do Sony centres have a return policy if your not happy)

is the ghosting when running the sky signal from the other room??
is the extension lead a regular coax cable for this??
if so, thats your problem, not the tv...

If you're not happy with the panel, ask wherever you bought it from if you can return it.
I suggest running another source through it, such as a DVD player.
A LCD/plasma will never handle SD as good as a CRT, but the picture isn't exactly terrible.
Without seeing the panel it's difficult to say. See how a DVD looks and report back.

yeah the extension is running off a normal cable, from a t-splitter from the living room TV.
ill check my dvd player for it.

See what a DVD is like, but chances are you will need a booster for the signal, unless the picture on the main tv is fine?
