i got a samsung galaxy s 2 the other day and have just been playing about with it not dead sure about what it can do.
Anyone able to suggest anything in the way of apps and shit? Already got mp3 downloader, that shit is wack

Just get whatever you fancy off the marketplace really, there's only a point getting what you actually need/use. I wouldn't bother with any crap like mp3 downloaders personally. Only apps I really use are things like TV guide and google maps. Mrs uses facebook & twitter apps. You can get some decent live wallpapers, etc. to tart it up a bit.

Dad's got one, look awesome imo.
It has android like HTC's do tho, not that there's anything wrong with that. Your problem, Hardy, was probably user error. My HTC Magic is old now and that doesn't go like a snail when texting.

Awhile ago there was an update which meant you had to scroll though to the current text, can you not remember that update ?

Dunno specifically tbh. On mine or any other I've used, you click on messages, select the thread for the right person and it's already scrolled to the latest one upon opening?

Yeh a few months ago they updates it and you had to scroll to the new text lol
major fuck up, but yeh its back to normal now

A tv guide was something i was going to look at, whats a good one assuming there are loads available? and that mp3 downloader is faster than my laptop brett, not that that's hard lol

Same old shit, different office tbh mate.
I think I just type 'tv guide uk' in the search and it's the one by Jersey productions. First you need to go in the setup because there's probs loads of channels you don't want, once that's done it's pretty good. I like it because I can click the movies tab on the bottom and it shows me all movies for the day, much easier than using my TV tbh.
Only other thing I missed off was a stopwatch I downloaded which I use a lot for timing tea and stuff
