Having trouble with central locking on a vtr i just bought. It doesn't work at all off of the Drivers door but on the passenger door it locks, unlocks, (repeatedly and quickly)about 10 times then eventually just stops but unlocked so I can't lock it.
How can i temporarily disable the central locking?. Is there a fuse / relay i can remove or wire I can cut until I can get it looked at properly.

There is a fuse but it also disables the radio, interior/boot light, indicators and clock, but im sure there will be a connector or something near the door hinge so you can just unplug it ??

Yeah i was afraid someone was going to say it'd knock a load of other things off.
I think i can just unplug the motors but it means taking the door cards off which i can't be chewed with

mine did this, so in a stress i booted the door card and it worked again. probs not the best idea though. could be a sticky lock solenoid or something.
